just got this trailing variegated nepeta (catmint)

Are you sure that's a nepeta?? It looks like the variegated ground ivy to me. I wonder if it will be invasive......

Doesn't look like cat mint to me either, but it sure is pretty. Wouldn't it be lovely trailing over a pot! That would take care of any invasiveness!

They look similar. Does the nepteta get little purple flowers?

One of the synonyms of this Glechoma is Nepeta hederacea. It's sometimes still sold as Nepeta here in the UK
