We have deer here too, but I have never seen them go in the garden lol seems to prefer the woodline facing towards the corn fields.

Goats do so deer probably do too.

we have deer that go through our yard every night to cross the road. I've not lost any yet to them (althought the caterpillars and grasshoppers eat as much as a deer could)
now, someone may have a problem with them, but I don't

There are lots of deer on the West Coast. My yard is fenced so they don't come in here. My friend left a couple of brugs on her deck, unfenced yard, and the deer never touched them but they ate lots of other stuff. I think they're smart enough to not eat brugs.

Well something munched one of mine off about 6 inches above the ground. We have lots of deer, but Mollie the collie chases them away.(Wally the chicken dog is afraid of them). I watched a bunny eat leaves on a brug and he was back the next evening for more, so it didn't kill the little pest.

How about raccoons? Do you have those? I went down to the brug deck this morning and surprised one. I don't think he ate anything - but he had a guilty look on his face.

Liz, I'll lend you Oscar and Molly and the racoons will leave quite quickly. LOL

Thanks brugcrazy - raccoons are the least of my worries right now - the neighbor's 4 big dogs are sending me into a towering rage though.

Well, I'm sure Oscar and Molly would fix them too. Are they coming into your garden? You know how much I love dogs, BUT, they should be contained to their own yards. Call the SPCA, they'll come and talk to them.

all I know is I eat deer
