i am looking for a plant that has a wonderful jasmin like scent, the flower looks like the sweet woodruff, but mine is a huge tree and the leaves are much different...it blooms from the middle of june to the first week in july...it is wonderful...but alas i need to know what it is and then i need to know how to propagate it...

poppysue, isn't there a blue-flowered sweet woodruff also?

aagghhhhhhhhh!!!!!! poppysue for years I tried to get rid of this weed from my garden to no avail. Then I found the perfect solution. You build a very large conservatory on the top of it!! LOL

Darius, the blue woodruff is an annual. I haven't tried that one yet.

I haven't had too much trouble with it being invasive. Some years a lot of it dies out over the winter. It does spread ... but not too bad.
