Hello farmers. Everyone must be busy, me too. It's a nice day and I've been out doing battle with the weeds. The grass in the yard looks like it needs mowing again but it will have to wait a day or 2 more, there are lots more weeds to pull from flower beds and I have more planting to finish up this evening after the sun is lower. The vegie garden is almost all planted and the weeds down there are ahead of me already. My trip to see what I inherited was disappointing, the place is a mess and we will have to hire people to cart off many years accumulation of things that have been piled up here and there and left for years, and also somebody to clean it. Long, unpleasant story there, it was sad to see our grandma's place so run down, it looked cute and neat when she lived there, but then she left it to my dad and he let it run down, didn't even mow the lawn. Surprisingly there are a few surviving flowers which I will bring home when my sister and I go to get the furniture. If it was not so far away we could do it ourselves. However, on the bright side the realtor says these fixeruppers sell quite well. I sure hope so. Breezy has been lame again and I worked with him a while this morning, I think just keeping him moving will help and I might put up a hot fence where it will force him to go up and down the hill for hay and water instead of just standing in the corral, just what I need right now, another project. My team put a lot of riders on the trail this past weekend but did not earn any points, no details yet, just got a quick boo-hoo email. Now I'd better get back to the weeding. Have a good day everyone, count your blessings.
