Fountain Grass seeds available for trade only

I have quite a large amount of fountain grass seed available for trade only of hard-to-find (at least for me they are!) seeds.

Kay, I had three red fountain grass plants last year--I bought them because I thought they'd be hardy to zone 5, then found out only a few days ago from a catalog that they're only hardy to zone 9. Yikes! I hadn't saved seeds; they blew away in the wind.

If you'd like seed from a (tall!) ornamental grass, I have plenty to trade. Otherwise, do you have a "wish list"?

These are hardy to zone 5- they aren't the red, but the common fountain grass. i have a wish list but pretty much just am looking for anything not usually found on the swaps- i also have Weeping love grass available for a short time- this is hardy to zone 3 and forms the classic weeping habit- i don't have the botanical name for it, though.

Kat, I would love some of the fountain grass seeds and/or the weeping grass. At this time I have hibiscus seeds, multiplying onion bulbs, crepe myrtle seeds, aster, bachlor buttons, poppys, aND OTHERS. i HAVEN'T HAD TIME TO GO THRU EVERYTHING. lET ME KNOW and maybe I have it. Thanks Janet

Kat: Just wanted to let anybody that wants to grow the Weeping Grass. To know it was very easy to grow from seed. I have three 6 in. pots full. Had very good germination and within a weeks time. Thank you for saying it is perennial, didn't know that. I have all my seeds for the season, or I'd trade with you in a minute. There is always next fall. Debby

Thank you, Geza- I sent you an email. And as for you, Molly Bee, New Yorkers from the big city have the worst attitude, or at least that's what they're known for, but where I'm from we are generally an untrustworthy lot-trained from childhood to be that way to "protect" ourselves. But I personally live by the Golden rule, so you're safe! It is a matter of personal choice, though surroundings can and will try to influence us, of course.

Kat now I KNOW you are one of a kind, Because I too have heard the same about New Yorker's But I can now say that I know of One nice lady who lives there!! Actually the thought of traveling to New York has alway scared me...who knows why maybe it's all those big tall buildings...heck I'm even scared to go downtown Atlanta! too many crazy people that are Always in a rush, I'm more of a layed back take it slow kinda like a country Girl. long as I have my Wally-World(wal-mart) who needs the big city.LOL
