Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Sorry to have to post here, didn't know if you'd tried to email me. It says that I have 21 new messages but won't let me in. I'm going to straighten out my regular email today, I promise!!
I sent them Global Priority, they said about 4 working days and they should arrive.

No, its me, that are sorry. I got your e-mail thursday 30., but spend only short time on the internet from that time of to now. My brothers son was here on early weekend vacation. He`s 13 years and my brother is too ill to take care of him. My parents use to in every other weekend, but they have become too old and tired for that, so now he`s my responsibillity lol He`s a fine kid though :-) lol hope to make a brug addict out of him soon lol and maybe let him do some of my crosses :-)

Your packet has not arrived yet, Cala. Could be 4 working days to Copenhagen, but we are far down south and out on the country lol only a small village nearby and people chewing straws lol so that could be why :-) Don`t worry, they will come soon lol even out bank, whic is a major bank cooperation in the big cities are only combined with our postal office lol just in and out of the account and no more complicated maneuvres than that lol I promise to email you, when your packet arrive.

Tonny, that's what I was afraid of, that you were out in the country away from a major city. The next price down for shipping said it could take two or three weeks if you weren't in a city. I didn't want my little babies to stay in a box for that long. I tucked in a few things other than brugs, but forgot the CG. I'll see how these travel and box up another one soon.

Just wanted to let everyone know, Tonny emailed me and they finally arrived. They had a long journey.

Oh my Cala! That was a long time. Were they OK when they arrived?

What fun for Tonny....
Tonny, good luck with your new plants.

Cala, thanks for posting lol and thanks for packing them so well lol it was your packing that saved them lol and the firmly roots too :-)

Yes, it was a looooong journey. Express mail functioned 100 % fast in the US. Packet left Miami two days after Cala put it in the mailbox and entered Denmark within the next 24 hours lol

Entering Denmark was a completely different story lol Packet-Trans (a Danish private postal express cooperation company) received the packet shortly aftyer entering Denmark lol Then the packet was put into storage until this morning, where I received it lol

I will give 100 points for the UPS delivery speed lol Packet-Trans should be put five feet under lol

If anyone still have the guts to mail cuttings to Denmark, PLEASE use your common postal service, that cooperates to our common postal service lol Express works with the speed of a slugg here lol common postal office works lot faster. From entering the Copenhagen postal office it will usually only take 1-2(3) days, before the packet will be delivered here in the South :-)

I will post a before and a after picture of the cuttings, so you can see the difference lol Picture 1 is the scary movie, whereas picture two are the Happy end :-)

Tonny, it's hard to believe I could have gotten it there faster and saved money!! I'll know better next time. I'm glad I took the extra time to put the plastic around each plants roots. I started not too, but something told me to go ahead. I was trying to keep the package as light as possible, and also not to rot the plants from the wetness, but keep them wet enough, just in case.
I have to admit, I "practiced" with wrapping your plants before shipping them. I rinsed the soil off some "plain" brugs, wrapped them in wet paper, then plastic then into a box and into my car for a week. I then took them out to see how they were. I didn't dream of it taking 2 weeks though.

I just checket up with a few other trading friends and it seems like most US packages are 1 week to 10 days under its way when using the common mail system. These cooperate with the Danish common mail system and the packages are much quicker coming through. Sorry I didn`t know that, before you send. Could have saved a lot of trouble and money. I will still like to SASE you for the pkt. LMK
