Are you wanting people to submit possible names for it?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Peach Silk

Brugie, this is what i call VPX, and i fear i have caused confusion. i fear snow's she is calling versicolor peach might be this, not versicolor peach. i know i sent cuttings to a lot of people. might need a real name. do you like it?
there's big color difference just from position of the sun, there is a lot of speckled yellow in it.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I know I marked mine versi light, cause that's what you said when you sent it. I have versi peach too, but I know the tags on these are right:)

Pretty in Peach

can you tell I have nothing else to do??

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Arlene, Checked the tag and it's marked versi Peach. You also sent me one marked Peachy hybrid. Looked at the flowers again on the versi Peach one. They have darkened up and are a solid light peach color. There is no yellow on it at all.

Thanks Snow, wanted to make sure! have my first versipeach bloom this week, has held its color and shape very well. good luck getting your brugs planted today, you'll probably be glad it's on the cool side. yesterday i was dripping before 9:30.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Stunning indeed. Would it be possible to get a cutting someday?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

It's a beautifully shaped flower and the color is fantastic. Not putting the Brugs out till Mon. or Tue.I'm sitting here right now with a sweater on shivering and tonight it's going down in the 30's. %$#&*@ weather!!!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Snow . . . I will be so happy for you when your weather warms up so you can get your brugs out. So sorry that you did not get them out this weekend.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

so have you decided on a name? mine are doing wonderfully and asked me today:)

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Tig, i was thinking about Floyd. what do you think? or maybe jeb bush to counter balance janet reno?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

hey, I like that a lot!!! LOL (jeb bush, not floyd:)

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

well it could be peach or pink floyd, but i was trying to avoid peachy names, just to avoid confusion like we have with all those frosty pinks. i met a very old guy at one of ricky's games, claimed he was janet reno's teacher a million years ago. he had oldtimers, kept saying the same things over and over.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Peach Floyd, I get it!!! Love Pink Floyd, but there are more pink names than peach. you are the mama, I like them all!!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Eric, if you are out there, can you give us a name?

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

I actually saw a car with an "Elect Janet Reno for Governor"bumper sticker.Must be the only person in Florida supporting her.Of course all us Republicans are hoping she gets the Dem nomination.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Again Arlene & Eric it is absolutely stunning.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

G2S, i saw MzM at a plant trade, it was actually a joke how janet reno got his name, apparently MzM thought it was going to be ugly. i haven't seen one of those stickers yet, and i live right out of gainesville, liberal bastion of the southeast....60,000 students who vote democrat then leave us with the taxes.....

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Eric, you gotta name this brug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

FSH, TX

I like it better when you guys name the seedlings or seeds I send you, but if you insist...I like Spring Peach. What do you think?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

love it, I'm going out to change my tags this morning.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Eric, i hope you've been seeing yor hybrid pics, robin has a couple i have posted pics of, look like janet reno's siblings.

Arlene,
Is this the same one we discussed the other day....large flower with the peach stripes in it? Dr.Suess x EP but remember the tag you sent was marked "Eric's V.Peach"....I'm so confused. LOL

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Glory, this is the one. mine blooming isn't nearly so peach as in this pic, more off white with peachy streaks. do you think the name fits?

Spring Peach is great....I must write that down before I forget. :)
