James

Has anyone seen the Brug "James"? I have this one blooming today....gold colored...tag says James. Keeper or not?

Glory....never heard of this one..could be someones plant that just stuck a name with it when they sell or trade it.need to check with the original source as to whether its a hybrid or a pass along plant.

Glory, I've got one but it isn't to the blooming stage yet. For some reason it has been a very slow grower for me. Please post a picture when it comes to true color. I'd love to see what it looks like.

Glory - Please post a pic of it: I have both seedlings and a cutting of this one and really like to more, than I already do ... and that is not much lol I like to have both hybrid names as well as hybridizer data on all my Brugs ... even if it seems impossible in some cases lol as Kyle says, ... if we don`t start working of getting names right, Brugs will soon be out of our control :-) Mine James cutting will probably first bloom this fall and the seedlings (I have heard) will grow to 3-5 meters high, before blooming (I hope my cutting is from the blooming region of James or else I expect is first to bloom in 2004 lol

isn't James from Earl? and speaking of Earl, he's the one grower that sends out plants right away. Doesn't have the selection of the other 2 bigs, but at least you get something.

I'm waiting from my batteries for my camera to charge...will do a picture ASAP. My plant is not that tall...maybe 4ft/1.? meters and is just loaded with buds. Think I got this from Larry...I know I did...his name is on the tag.

I saw a pic of james on ebay with an add when someone was selling, think they said it went to 18 feet tall. mine never grew fast and didn't come back from the second hard frost.
