Dr D has

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

darkened up to a beautiful peachy color with darker peach blended throughout it. A truly different and beautiful flower. A big pat on the back for Eric on this one.I just can't get the right lighting in the GH to show it's true beauty.

Snow this is very like my VPX from him, except VPX doesn't seem to get as dark (they are sisters). i have VPX1 and VPX2 also, not so similar.

Pretty.

Nice one Snow. I wonder if this one is related to Janet Reno? Didn't it have the peach color in it too. Don't remember the basic color of Janet. How are your brugs liking the move outside? It was about 97 degrees here today and mine weren't too crazy about it. Sure sucking up the water.

Brugie, i think JR was from a DrS X isabella cross, not the Dr S X EP if my feeble memory serves me tonight. i have three of Dr.D's sisters, VPX, VPX1 and VPX2. the VPX is very similar to Dr. D but doesn't get as dark, at least it didn't last year. i swear i sent VPX cuttings to a lot of people, just can't remember who.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

did you call it Versi light peach at one time?

Arlene,
I think I have a V. Peach from you that came from Eric...I'll check tomorrow and see what it was named.

Glory.....from Rich? wonder what round about way that got to you. i am kicking myself again, harder and harder!!! i knew people would misunderstand. It's DrS X EP, i called it VPX because it looked like a peachy colored versicolor!!! i thought i was doing good not to name it, waiting to see how it did!!!!!! Glory, you sent me my first versicolor peach last september i think! anyway, VPeach isn't a real "versicolor peach". do i get the CRC award yet?
tig, yes i probably did, i always tried to call it a hybrid, and yes it 's a light peach/yellowish vericolor type.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

i have it then. would you like to name it now :)

Arlene,
I ment to say Eric and I said Rich..sorry.

What are you talking about V. Peach is not a V. Peach. LOL

Cala, let me look tomorrow and I'll see if it has any side shoots I can cut off.
Shirley, the Brugs were all going to be planted out today but it didn't happen. Tomorrow night it's supposed to go down into the 30's so I didn't want to chance it.The weather better change by next week because they HAVE to go out. They are hitting the roof and have nowhere to go.

snow, I am pretty sure I have an extra of this I can send her. will check when it gets light.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)
