This one isn't quite open yet and I found out that I could pry them apart and get the artists brush up inside to pollinate.

OH, I love those not have any double brug or triple. I would like to have few seeds. It is beautiful!

It will be several months before I have any seed. I just pollinated it this week.

That is gorgous! What did you cross it with? If we are putting dibs on seeds then I want dibs on a couple of these. Thanks. :>) Lani

I used Ecuador Pink pollen. I had used Whiskers pollen on one, but accidentaly bumped it and broke the stem today.

Oh - Cala - you are so good at this. I really think you have to give you-know-who-can't-be-named - a run for her brug money.

Either cross sounds amazing to me.

Liz, one of these days, lol. I'm in it for the challenge and fun of it instead of the money though. DH said it would be nice if I sell enough to pay for my heat bill too, lol.(I did sell lots to other nurseries and to our customers, mostly the CG, FP and suaveolens white.)

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

This type flower is what most of my doubles look like.Would love a plant of Charleston though...**DREAMING**

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Looks great Calla,Is it pure white or does it have a yellow cast to it? The EP pollen should make a great cross....soooo excited for you!!

CC, it looks yellow to start with and when it opens it's pure white.

Cala,
You might want to go to the logee's site http://www.logees.com/store/ ....there you will see a picture of Species....it looks just like the flower I posted yesterday.
