Arlene
Simply beautiful. It should make all the bad in the day simply go away.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I don't know Arlene,The creamsicle should have white running thru it.Can you get a shot of the inside?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Sure is a beauty.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

CC, it's peach inside with white in the very center. i'm thinking DB, don't know if i messed up labels or them, probably me. which means you will need to reverse your labels!!!!!!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

See,you kept the good one!!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

which ever one it is, it's a beauty!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

You know, i was so totally careful with those purple tags, i'd like to blame NH, but i don't know!! seems like this is double peach, it's a huge flower. looks like the next flower is not going to be deformed. was thinking of pollinating it, but want to see it without it being all cut up. CC, i kept the one that was growing the best, that is true. i hope yours does better than her mama did. would love to see it. wonder how eric's are doing.

Very nice Arlene. Are you going to try crossing it with EP?

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

it has more buds, i have no EP blooming yet. will have BF in a week or so, think that'll work out. hope i can get it done right, it's confusing in there!

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Arlene, that is a great flower, whatever it is :)

BF should work well as it's an aurea. Just don't give it any suaveolens genes or you'll end up with whites, I think. Lots of luck, maybe they're will be a double pink in Florida soon.

Jeanne, do all aurea x suaveolens crosses come out white or only this particular one?

Tonny, I seem to remember Monika saying to stay away from the suaveolens when making doubles and with other crosses. I could be wrong, maybe she'll jump in. I think you're best to use a pure aurea or pure versicolor.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Almost all aurea x suaveolens crosses are white. They all have one thing in common, the tendency to a very strong growth. This cross produces heavy bloomers, which will do great in mild climates but not in places with short summers, like mine. Charming is a cross between CG and B. x candida Ocre. Its sister plants, almost 40 of them, were all cream white, only Charming was golden. It has a beautiful flower, but outgrows every other hybrid. Charming is a Multihybrid but has most of its genes from aurea and suaveolens.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Bringing this one back up because of the huge difference in the first bloom and the more recently posted bloom from the same plant. I like the color on this one.

Yeah, its another beauty lol I think I am getting high of looking at all these exciting new Brugs lol never seen this one either :-)

Monika, thanks :-) Lucky, that Charming was among them. I sometimes think of, what I will throw away when growingh out Erics versicolor crosses lol I sowed little over half and of the ones came up I have already taken out 7 % for not responding fast enough after planting in the ground lol I think, that I will wish for more land to grow on for Christmas :-) so I can grow and see them all ...
