Tonnys Question re. Rosalie

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The right picture (view is not correct) is a photo from Mme Blin, taken by her daughter. The left photo was taken at my place. It is a magnificent pink. Mme Blin lives in a very mild climate, I am home in hessian Sibiria. Compare it with Gommers site.

Entirely different color and shape on Gommers website. Thanks for posting the real one :-) It helps clear things up a bit. Even if you live in a colder climate, as Mme. Blin, it has still most beautiful colors :-)It still has the dark pink, luminicent and slightly waxy look as it had, when Mme. Blins daughter took her picture :-)

What flower is it, that Gommer "calls" Rosalie?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It looks like Rosalie. I will have a closer look. Even the fall flowers of my Rosalie have color. Not that much anymore, but still more pink than other plants. The left picture was taken by myself. Mme Blins daughter and I used different cameras.

Could Gommers picture be a winter photo? Many Brugs will readily flower during winter, if there are light and heat enough. If the fall and spring color are lighter, than summer colors, then maybe winter colors will be relatively paler?

It could be. I would post better pictures, if I was a seller at that size.

You guys drool and I'll slobber. Just beautiful. Okay everyone, what are our chances of coming up with one like this one? That dark color is just beautiful.

How much pink or red are there in Butterfly? I know its one of Erics favorites and I think that coming up with a strong pink one was one of his reasons.

Are there any other pink/ reds you can think of?
