The right picture (view is not correct) is a photo from Mme Blin, taken by her daughter. The left photo was taken at my place. It is a magnificent pink. Mme Blin lives in a very mild climate, I am home in hessian Sibiria. Compare it with Gommers site.
Tonnys Question re. Rosalie
Entirely different color and shape on Gommers website. Thanks for posting the real one :-) It helps clear things up a bit. Even if you live in a colder climate, as Mme. Blin, it has still most beautiful colors :-)It still has the dark pink, luminicent and slightly waxy look as it had, when Mme. Blins daughter took her picture :-)
What flower is it, that Gommer "calls" Rosalie?
It looks like Rosalie. I will have a closer look. Even the fall flowers of my Rosalie have color. Not that much anymore, but still more pink than other plants. The left picture was taken by myself. Mme Blins daughter and I used different cameras.
It could be. I would post better pictures, if I was a seller at that size.
I love this one......**DROOLING***
:-)
I'm with you Kyle, drooling big time.
Lovely....
You guys drool and I'll slobber. Just beautiful. Okay everyone, what are our chances of coming up with one like this one? That dark color is just beautiful.
I want one of these tooooooo!!!
If I keep wanting more of these critters I may have to move my house to a national park.
Monika . . . what cross produced Rosalie? You are so lucky to have all these beautiful color flowers.
Rosalies mother is B. aurea Rothkirch crossed with B. x candida Ocre. Its a real beauty.
JoPo,
I bet you will find room. LOL Got a driveway...well there ya go.
Monika . . . it is truly a beauty. It seems that Rothkirch crosses produce beautiful flowers. I hope one day we will be able to get this one.
I will post next week pictures of my new EP x Rothkirch cross. The first out fo 34 seedlings opened 7 flowers at once.
