Whiskers in it's full glory

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I counted 47 open blooms this morning. I had my paint brush out pollinating them too. The fragrance is almost overpowering in the small space of the Jungle House, but it's marvelous.

Monika, I really thought about that, but I think there are o'possums that come in at night. I would hate to wake up with one of those looking at me!!

I think these look kind of cute, but however, not a pet for me lol I read some place, that they marks territory and that it smells worse, that even your beautiful whiskers can cover for :-)

Cala, your plant is wonderful. Indications of things yet to come. :-) I know what you mean about the critters......this morning my squirrels were going nuts in the tree that shades the back deck. After listening to them for a couple of hours, I looked up to see what the problem was and there was, and still is, a huge raccoon in the tree. We are hoping that it will come down tonight and leave. I don't particularly like wild animals camping out overhead.

Cala,
It is soooooooo pretty!!!!
