Good morning, everyong!

Rain, rain and more rain here on the West Coast. Corn is just soaking it all in :) Strawberries not so happy :( A little on the chilly side for me, but the 2nd round of calves seem to not notice. Maybe it's an age thing? My 10 yr old DS seems not to notice, either - spent the afternoon in the rain helping DH build an addition to our fence. DH looked like he could have thought of better things to do than stand in the mud in the rain, but DS seemed to think that it was just grand. Ah, youth!

I spent the weekend doing indoor stuff - actually cooked two days in a row. DDs were amazed. They didn't think I really knew how :-) Since the DDs are making plans to leave home in s few years, I figured I'd better start practicing these things!

Well, gotta do some work now. We're still in mourning for our coworkers who were laid off; however, the "head hunters" have been calling for people, so hopefully that's a good sign.
