My mystery brug

Baton Rouge, LA(Zone 8a)

I got this one from a local nursery about 4 years ago. It has been spectacular for me but the tag only said "Yellow".
Could anyone identify it for me?

Thanks.

Looks like a Dr.Seuss to me

JoPo,
Does it have serrated leaves?

Baton Rouge, LA(Zone 8a)

Yeah, it has serrated leaves. I just hope it's not a Dr. Seuss cuz thinking it wasn't I just got one! Sheesh!

Dr. Seuss's pics didn't look like this one though. It seems to have more peachy color in it than this one.

Oh well. Whatever!

Thanks, guys.

JoPo,
I like Irish think it is Dr. Suess....seems we all have lots of that one.

Ok, Glory.

Well darn! I have other ones of my mystery brug already!

I may have to just mulch my whole yard....as a friend so snidely suggested. hehehe

Thanks.

JoPo,
Do like the rest of us....have more Brugs then you know what to do with. I'm sure you know by now it not wanting more Brugs it's having to have more Brugs....I think we are all addicted to the Brugmansias.

it looks a lot more peachy than my Dr S. and mine curls up more than that. the only way to know for sure is to try and cross them, if they make a seedpod, they aren't the same.

yes, when your dr suess blooms compare. and don't feel alone. last year i traded for a jutner orange, "versicolor yellow", charles grimaldi, and bought 2 dr suess plants. they all ended up being dr suess!!!!! fortunately it's a really nice plant, fragrant, fast growing, easy to root.

Baton Rouge, LA(Zone 8a)

Well I'll just have to see when they bloom. I also bought one locally a few weeks ago that was marked "Orange". Gee! I hope it's not another Dr. Seuss too! hehehe

I mean I have a fairly big yard but THIS is ridiculous!

hehehe
