I received an email from someone today asking about beige, 1-2 inch spots on her brug leaves. Big spots. It doesn't sound like it's mottled, just spotted. I haven't any idea what would do this. Can anyone help us?
spots on leaves?
Wonder if it could be sunburn or maybe a burn from an insecticide sprayed in the sun? I had a couple of leaves on a sang do this while in the picture window. It doesn't go away, but eventually they will disappear. Hey Liz, my big sang has Y's many times and still no flower buds. What do you think I should do or is this normal?
Wait, Brugie - that's all you can do unless you want to try dosing it with 10-52-10 or something like that - the ultra bloom stuff.
I'll ask her if she's fried them - it's her first brug and is terribly protective of it.
Thanks
Thanks Liz, I've got some Bloom Booster. Can't hurt to give it a shot. I'm pretty anxious as you can tell. Check the other brugs every day for Y's and found one on US Conn. Treasures tonight, but the poor thing is only about 14 inches tall. Might be a real sight if it blooms now.
Shirley,
That University of Conn Treasure is a nice Brug...cross between S.White and Apricot Versicolor...blooms for me all spring and summer.
I'm just so anxious to get some of them blooming that I can't keep my nose out of the garden. Guess I'm not going to hurry anything up by looking, but keep hoping. Will have some Suess blooms in a couple of weeks. Maybe that will hold me for a while.
Am glad to hear that you like this one. Didn't know what to get when buying these and just took a chance.
