Pods on Whiskers

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Here are the new pods on Whiskers. This is my first success with this variety. I've been very careful not to let it dry out this time because this seems to make the seed pods fall prematurely. I always slit the calyx with a razor after the pods start filling out to keep them from collecting moisture and insects and rotting.

Wonderful! - I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of all these Ecuador Pink crosses.

Cala,
I too just planted some seeds from Whiskers.....the cross is Whiskers X Golden Lady. I would like a solid white offspring of Whiskers if someone gets one.
