looking for dutch white runner beans

Whittier, CA(Zone 9a)

Hi! I am still looking for these, and would love to trade for some. Please check my list of seeds & see if anything interests you. Also, if you are looking for something in particular, please ask, as I have yet to finish my listing of seeds... Thanks in advance! -Surf :)

I have some of the Mountaineer (Dutch) white half-runner bean seed, and would be happy to send you some. I’m not very knowledgeable about heirloom seeds, but this variety has a great taste and is very poplar in the mountain regions of Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina. My understanding is that German Immigrants originally brought this seed to North Carolina. This bean only grows about half the size of a regular pole bean, and is commonly planted in Field Corn (utilizing the corn stalk as support). There is also a larger version called the State half-runner (larger vine and larger bean pod). E-mail me if you think this is the correct variety. Gary
