It is Brug (Peach/Pink). I couldn't remember who I got this cutting from. It started blooming this early morning.. It is so pretty color and long day I should collect the pollen before flower fade? Now or wait? Let me know. I would like to collect pollen so I can pollen it with other color. How long I can freeze the pollen?
Peach/Pink brug
You can collect the pollen now, or when the flower starts to fade, either one. Do you have another one blooming that you could pollinate this one with?
No this is the only one that's blooming... I wish I have other extra bloom so I can pollinate it.. But I notice there are several baby buds on way..
this one would be good to use, it's a six pointer!
Congratulations on your first flower Mini. It's a beautiful one.
I went and looked into my book and found that I got this cutting from KMT (Krama) last year.
Its beautiful,congradulations!
Thanks!!! :o) Now I can't wait for other brugs to bloom.
Mini,
Has asked a very good question. How long can pollen be kept in the fridge and or freezer before it has to be replaced with fresh pollen? Monika, Tonny or Kyle any answers.
Yes Glory, I am still waiting for answer about how long in frige or freeze for the pollen...
Glory..I keep pollen refrigerated for about two months then it gets too old.
:-)
Congrat's Mini, it is beautiful.
Really pretty Mini. Hope you get another plant blooming soon so you can try to cross pollinate. I am anxious to do this myself, even though I might not keep the seeds until I get a cross that I really want.

Kyle,
Thanks for the info. I wonder how we can find out how long we can keep it frozen. If anyone talks to Brugman would you ask him....I think he freezes pollen.
