San Diego Brug 1 Kyles pic
Now that's the way I would like to see mine bloom!! :-)
Kyle,
That is a beauty....I don't know how we could have missed that one.
What flowers! What a tree! What a trunk! Unbelievable!
Did you have such big plants too in your garden, while you where living in San Diego, Kyle?
Kyle, that is definately what I want in my yard!!!
Monika..no...they had very few brugs except white suaveolens when I lived there in the early 80's.There was a huge flowered white down the street from our house...but when I would walk by the plant during the day..NO SMELL! I thought...thats not good..should smell.Well I never walked by at night..DUH!!LOL I would have started growing them a few years earlier! :-)
WOW
I meant for mine to look like that.
mine want to look like that!
tiG,
maybe if you talk real sweet to them they may grow up to that size....that is a beauty.
I not only want to steal your photo but also this tree!!!
No copyright will save you!
Stunning!!
absolutely breathtaking! Here the frost must got them too often to get so fat and tall.
Kell drive to San Diego and get me a cutting or two..I'll give ya driving directions!! :-)
If I go to San Diego, I definitely would drive a few hours to see this in person. I just love it! So one day I may just ask for directions!
I may be the only one who does not know . . but, since it has not been asked . . what kind of veriscolor brug is it?
Brugnanny..we aren't sure...looks like Versicolor Apricot..or a form of it! :-) is more yellow than orange like Apricot
I can only dream about a Brug that big.
I had forgotten about this photo - thanks for bringing it backup.
this is what my brugs want to be when they grow up.....
