Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

It's been raining most all day and night. Farmers scrambled all weekend to pick the hay up off the ground that was cut earlier last week. Looks like strawberry season and cherry season may be pre-empted by these late rains - mushy, water-logged fruit for the next week or so :-( Mother Nature sure seems to be reminding us all who is *really* in charge.... on the other hand, I think the corn and tomato people are thrilled that they haven't had to start irrigation yet, this year. End of May, and Rain. Strange.

Yipee! Finals for me and my DD are over! I'm sure DH, other DD and DS will find the two of us much better company!

The other good news is that it looks like DS will actually pass 5th grade! It's been a tough but rewarding year.

Blessings to you. Counting my blessings: #1 - the sound of healthy, happy children laughing.

Take care.

Karla
