lasagna recipe

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

I love lasagna, and make a very simple one that is just so delicious. I always make two pans and freeze one.

ground beef 1 lb
1-2 onions
2-3 jars of spaghetti sauce (I like the 4 cheese type)
1 to 1-/2 cups water
parsley 1/2 cup
ricotta cheese 1 tub
mozzarella cheese 1 lb shredded
romano cheese 1 cup shredded
1 can olives - sliced
1 can mushrooms
lasagna noodles (uncooked)

brown the ground meat and cook with onion, add the spaghetti sauce and water, parsley olives, mushrooms and whatever else you would like.....(green peppers, broccoli, carrots, spinach)
layer in the pan, I start with sauce, uncooked lasagna noodles, heap sauce on it, ricotta cheese, then the mozarella, then the romano, then another layer of noodles, sauce and end with mozarella sauce cheese.
baked covered for about 45 minutes
uncover and backe for another 15 minutes
let it sit for about 5-10 minutes before serving

the noodles cook in the juice of the spaghetti sauce and are so much tastier than noodles that are pre-cooked.

I hope the recipe makes sense, I just wrote it out as I make it.

share your favorite laagna dish...I like to try others too...
