I just bought this plant and I live in zone 9a. I am sure the Winter will be too cold for the plant, but will it do well planted in a large container for patio use in Spring and Summer?

This will be the 3rd winter for this plant, 2 in the house and this year in the new green house. It has looked sorry by spring, but came back ok. I think about 40° is the lower limit to keeping it green. It has always been in a pot. You could keep it out on the patio with a cover of some kind on the cold days. As you have so few. Good luck with it.

jb44: Do you have any extra seeds or bulbs from this plant?
