Flood damages, starting again.

Success, MO

Morning. Well the suns come out for a little while. Have my fingers crossed we recieve no more rain for a least a week or two. My gardens just can't take anymore water !

Was able to get out and do some checking. I've lost near every seedling I had put out. The winds, and downpours have broken the tops off of all the babies ! I am so sad !! Anyone else suffering from the floods here in the midwest ?

I'm going to start over again. Hope I can find a few people still deviding, willing to help me out ? If you have ANY quick growing (will get very hot here soon),plants or seeds you would be willing to share PLEASE LMK .

Thanks so very much !!
Hugs!!

I know how you feel. I planted some trillium seedlings from a dear friend, a dead branch fell off a tree above it and ripped the tops right off! Heartless and cruel. I don't know if I have anything left to share right now; will have to go outside later (my backyard is underwater again and again... and again...) and search. If so, I will let you know.

I know all of us in the midwest are in grief for our baby plants.

Thanks everyone,

I know I'm not alone feeling like this. I shouldn't be whinning over little plants, so many people have lost alot more than I have. Was a poor girl (Senior in Highschool), driving home from her job a week ago. She never made it. Tried to cross a low water bridge. Baby would have Graduated last night.

I will get with each of you. We can compare what we had make it thur. We'll try to make sure all of us have some color this year. Thank you again. And God Bless !

HUGS!!

OOps ... got myself all upset telling you about the Great Loss. Forgot to tell yah the GOOD NEWS.

A friend that I had shared lots of my seeds with came by for a visit this morning. The storms mainly missed thier place. She had little to no damages. She has asked me to come by and help her do some thinning. The extras we will move back up here !!

Things are looking much brighter today !! Again, Thank you all !!

shee---if you need any plants I have on my trade list, to help your gardens, just hollar at me and I will dig you some up. I hope the sun comes out and brightens your gardens up and maybe the rains left some nice little surprises or additions to your gardens. I always find nice little surprise plants after some good rains.
