Yes, this one's a rich blood red Evert, with handsome gold stamens which haven't come out so well in the pic. as they look in real life.

I am so glad I found out what this plant is. I moved into a house tht had one out in front and it is beautiful. Everyone wants me to cut it down.

I went to a seminar at a man's home and the owner had one in his garden. It is his wife's favorite. She is from Vietnam, and evidently they revere the plant.
