what a find a strange streptocarpus at a greenhouse

When we were on vacation, we stopped at a greenhouse, and I found a strange little flowering plant in with the annuals, it was labeled streptocarpus hybrid variety blue angel...it has leaves like an african violet, but it is a trailing/hanging plant.....it has long stems, the flowers are purple and look like little orchids......it is a very pretty little plant...it doesn't LOOK like an annual..
