Mingsmimi - The Statue from My Mom's Back Pond

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Here is a closer picture of that statue; I think he's made of resin. Sorry his beak is partially hidden, but he was shy. ;)

I like that! But, LOL! before I enlarged it, I thought it was an old bow-legged cowboy wearing a 20 gallon hat!

Sorry, please don't take offense. I was really chuckling after I enlarged it and saw what it really was. It's funny how an image pops into our minds before we figure out what something really is.

Blum, TX(Zone 8a)

What is it? looks like a turtle to me,in a way,but turtles don't have so long legs

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

It's a crane, Tink. Its legs are on the left, its body up top, and its neck is bent toward the ground. The angle isn't the best to show what it looks like!

LOL, Joan. No offense taken. It could be a new generation of ink blot tests, huh, pardner?

Blum, TX(Zone 8a)

lol...I was looking at it's tail, it looks like a turtle head.and it also looks like a frog leaping,if you disregard the head. I never was good at ink blots ,always looked like butterflies to me! :)
