egyptian onions ???

how do you eat egyptian onions? i just got 3-4 bulbs worth and know nothing about it. all help appreciated.

I grow them in my garden. I use the larger topsets to pickle, the new starts in winter/spring as scallions and the the big hollow greens during summer as holders for some tasty filler or other (herb cream cheese??)

I disagree with the links use of the mature bulbs. We found them unpalatable but hey, "to each his own"
