Good! I saw the doctor for my follow-up this morning. The drops are working and my eyes have stabilised. Pressure of 18 in one and 22 in the other. Go on to 6-monthly check-ups now.
Glaucoma news
Good news there I am glad for you Shirley
Great, glad things are better.
Slight set-back. I'd noticed some changes in my distance vision. Saw the optician on Thursday. A big change in my right eye. Need another new pair of glasses only four months after my latest pair. Bitterly disappointed doesn't exxpress it. I'm with another optician now - the last one made a mistake with one of my prescriptions. This one I'm with now is so mcuh better, has more modern equipment, not so uncomfortable during examinations.
How are you doing, Northerner? Thinking of you tonight.
Hello gardenwife. I'm waiting for my next set of glasses. Varifocals.
Fed up. Couldn't see the computer screen for my course cos of the glaucoma. Means I'm faced with re-sits and can't start my project yet. It will take me several more months to get my M.Sc. And I really can't afford it. Will need to look for work instead really. Bittterly disappointed. I submitted mitigating Circumstances to the uni but they rejected it. And I haven't been allocated a supervisor for my project.
