Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning Everyone,
raining again. We are soaked here in the Midwest. Yes soaked. Evamae and I had planned a little get together here today. But it is raining steadily. Not good for some shovel happy people. of course, the mud does make for easier digging. But, don't think we want to get that soaked. I am still going to go out to the damson plum tree and see if I can rescue some babies for her before the sheep gnaw them to nothing. I already moved some starts for me. Another day. another day.
Hubby and I bought two yearling hereford heifers at the cattle auction yesterday. I will keep them up in the corral until they know where home is. The other cattle haven't come up to visit yet so hoping they will herd up soon. We should be expecting three more baby calves here. I am so excited my pet heifer is expecting you would think I was having the calf myself. The Vet said it will be in the next month or so. She is starting to bag up and "drop" a little.
I keep waiting for the rain to slow a little before I venture out, but it looks like it has set in for the day.
Ok, going to go find all the rain gear.
