A fist grade schoolteacher on her first day said to the class, "I'm a Colorado Avalanche fan, who else is an Avalanche fan?"
All of the kids, wanting to be on the teachers side, put up their hands..... all except one little girl. On asking why she didn't put up her hand, the little girl said, "I'm a Detroit Red Wings fan."
"Well why are you a Red Wings fan?", asked the teacher.
"Well..... my Mum is a Red Wings fan, and my Dad is a Red Wings fan, so I'm one too".
The teacher was getting a mite perturbed at the wee girl and said, "Well that is a stupid reason for your love of the Red Wings. Just imagine your Dad was a moron, and your Mum was an idiot, what would you be then??"
"Oh, then I'd be an Avalanche fan!!"
