Me too, Mollybee!! If you find some please let me know. I would love to try them in my garden too whether it be plants or seeds. Thanks! :)

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

they are grown from cuttings only. they are very shy seeders and when they do the seeds wont come true. even my species Osteospermums dont set seed.

Mollybee, I saw some at one of our local nursuries, did you check out yours? We are just starting our planting season, so the starter plants are available. I saw the darker spooned one yesterday.

O really Marcia?? I can't believe ya'll have them in! I have searched high and low and still can't find them :( Did you remember how much they cost?? maybe I could send you the $$ and the postage if you could get me one... LMK K?

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

Molly... check also on ur local Home Depot. i did not see the Whirlygig, but they have other spooned daisy HD tag as mums. i got the fushia one about 10" high filled with blossoms for $3.88 if not mistaken 4" pot. HD supplier is Rocket Farms of Salinas, Ca. i do not know if they have a web site. Walmart sells osteospermum too but not the spooned varieties. i did not check the price on Walwart as i was not interested. call ur local HD. here in Hesperia, the osteospermum were well hidden amongst the other tropical plants. i saw what i bought by accident. if u want i can post a photo, lmk... ma vie

Thanks Cala, I'd appreciate that!!

Mollybee, I will check around to see if they still have the spooned ones. I only saw a couple of plants as they usually tuck them in large hanging pots. Will let you know.

i bought 2 at home depot, orange with a purple center and i made the mistake of listening to the tag that said it was good to 19 degrees. they both died. :( i haven't seen them since or i would have bought another. they are so pretty. my neighbor has a pink one with purple center.

:( debi, I know how disappointed you must be. I hate loosing a plant..esp the ones that are my favorite

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Deb, I read that tag too and they aren't that hardy. Found out the hard way.

MB. I posted this on MaVieRose's. The store was out of them and I checked others in the area, they either did not carry that kind or were out. I will be checking the Farmers' Markets.

Mollybee, I checked at the main Farmer's Market and saw none. Will still keep my eyes open, but that was where I thought that I might find one- sorry.
