The computer is up and running and I'm back on line and DG

Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

It's raining here as usual so we have critters all over in here when we all wish they were outside. I think this week we'll make an effort to make some 'houses' for Thomas and Zipporah so they can stay in the outside pens day and night and I won't have to be concerned about the weather or prowling meat eating critters being able to get to them.
The computer problem turned out to be a couple excessively long wires connected to the something in the computer that had become entangled in microprosser fan. They were stopping the fan from running so the computer overheated and shut down. It took over a week to find it because he can only see for a few minutes at a time to work on it. Kyle had mentioned something to his dad about the power supply going bad so Jack had the cover off to check that out when he found the wires in the fan. He has them taped up out of the way now so it shouldn't happen again.
Kris gave me the money to buy some cypress mulch for Mother's Day. I got lovely cards from other family members and Kyle has something for me as soon as he can figure out how to get it here. I told him putting up the paneling in the dining room would be gift enough for me. I've been wanting that room paneled for 20 years and have had one end done for about 2 years. I got the rest of the paneling a month ago but it has been setting in the garage since then.
KathyJo, I'm so sorry to hear the crops in your area are in such sad condition. I don't think we've had as much rain up here as you have had. All together I guess we've gotten about 4" in the past week or so. More than most farmers around here think we really need right now,but GOD knows best.
Tomorrow Jack goes back to the eye doctor (amongst others) to see what if anything can be done for his left eye. Just keep him in your prayers, please.
I need to go dig those daylily and other flower starts to take to the nurses at the VA clinics we will visit tomorrow. It's a neat way to be able to thin our clumps and know they will bring pleasure to those who have helped bring relief to Jack with his health problems. Kind of our way of saying "Thanks".
GOD bless and keep each and all of you.
