Very pretty, but do those serrated leaves mean its the doc?

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but there has been a lot of talk about Charles Grimaldi and Dr. Suess. We now know that Dr. Suess has a toothed or serrated leaf and Charles Grimaldi, AKA Jutner Orange, has a smooth edge to the leaf. Looking at your pictures, I do believe that this brug is Dr. Suess. Of course, there is nothing wrong with Dr. Suess. I have a couple of them now that I know the difference and have named them properly. I think it is a beautiful yellow and your pictures really show the bloom off nicely. Now that I've put this on you, hope you have a great trip!! :-) Sorry......If I'm wrong, someone tell me, please.

Congratulations on your first bloom. It's beautiful. Like the way you do the 4 pictures together.

Arlene, guess we were posting at the same time again. I too, like the way Farmgirl puts her pictures together. Guess we need a teacher. Hint, hint!! I don't have the foggiest idea of how to do that.

I had a man call yesterday looking for brugs, and we got to talking, he asked if I had CG, he'd wanted to trade me that for what I have. Yep, he has the doc and I had to explain the entire thing to him. Funny thing, he left DG and is at GW and if he'd stayed here, he would have known that :)
we really need to get the word out on this.

Ok guys heres my thought on this I have several dr seuss's that I have raised from seed that I got from Eral at valley grow. I will post pics after I post this.they have both smooth leaves and serrated ones Now my thinking is that if you need a different brug to father a brug that you will not get a pure Dr Seuss or what ever you are crossing there for you may have a CG off spring with serrated leaves or a Dr Seuss with smooth leaves I think that the only way to get a pure of anything is to have a cutting from the orginal hybrid so I belive that very well can be a CG JMO

Irish, you can get anything off dr suess seeds, depending on the daddy, but probably not a real dr seuss.
