Finally Friday!!

TGIF!!
It seems like it's taken forever to get to Friday. Is the full moon out? The kids at school sure act like it is. I hope the next two weeks of school aren't like this. I don't think I've ever dealt out more detention time at the end of the year like this year. If it isn't the 8th grade attitude, it's the little guys bouncing off the walls!! And we have pretty good kids! I wonder what the other schools are like??
We found out what the calf died from. Can you believe the calves have coccidiosis? I thought we got rid of that last year (or was it the year before?), but someone told me if it's in the ground, you get it every year. (Don't know what that means exactly, maybe the germ is still in the dirt!) I don't remember our calves getting it when I was growing up. Just the chickens!! We normally don't get another calf to replace the dead one. We aren't home enough to watch that it gets enough milk from the mama. Too bad that we have to work off the farm. DH is getting fed up with his job. Some people just think you need to wait on them immediately, even though there are 5 people ahead of them. He works at an auto parts store and there are some real winners out there. No matter what you tell them, it isn't right.
It's still cold enough for frost warnings. Normal temps are around 70, but we have had only 50 some for a high temp. The leaves on the trees are probably going to get sucked back into the branches if it doesn't warm up already!!
I'm going to a big plant sale and farmers market tomorrow. Hope to get some good stuff. I want to get a variegated African Violet, but I'm giving it to a friend of mine because I always kill them. She can give me a leaf or two after they get big enough. I hope I manage to control myself if there is nice stuff there. I always go over-board and buy bunches of plants, then I have to hide them from DH and put them out gradually. LOL One of these days I'm going to get caught big time. My sister wants me to pick up some gutters for her, so the pickup will be going and that's more room to put stuff!!! Can you get my drift here?? Trees, shrubs......now that I've got all this room after the cedar trees got cut down.......control, woman, control!! Too bad I don't have any willpower!! LOL
