A "Mouse".....how long should it work good???????

We are really sick of how many "Mouse"....."Mouse's"....."Mice"---we have bought...They seem to last about 2-3 month....even with good cleaning....they, stop arrowing around....Never heard of anyone else having this problem.....I know we are old...but why should they wear out so soon, like we do....This one is a "Memorex" the one that came with new Dell.......So tell us...are we just going to have to buy stock in these "Mouse" company's? Let me know if you have any good answers Please??????? Diana
