Hello All, it seems this place will be a little redundact for a while, everyone in the natter box, but we must still maintain the post on here, we have to have the top score on daves next report, looking out of the window , its dry, trying to be bright,breezy and cool, well i am off out now, be back around noon, bye.

Good morning - it would be a shame to let this slide because of the chat box - I perticularly like this way of communicating 'cos it fits in so well with the way I use the machine. I zoom around the forums a lot , sometimes I'll post on 3 or 4 whilst I'm waiting for a come back here and I also enjoy being able to look back at what was said when I wasn't there which you can't do on the live chat forum so I guess I'll be missing out from now on.
Of course if I'm to be honest I also like having the ability to edit what I've said and to walk away whilst typing to think about what I'm saying or just to look out of the window at the garden - I guess I'm a bit of a control freak and like things to look as if I know what I'm doing.....

Anyway, the weather's not too bad at the moment but they've forecast hell on earth for later so I imagine that gardening is out of the question for a while, a shame because I've got a half pruned privet and it's saturated and uncuttable at tghe moment so I could use some sunshine.
I've got longtailed tits trying to nest in the garden and that's a first for me - they've often been around but I've not seen them trying to nest before : anyway I've told them they're welcome and along with the chaffinches, goldfinches, blue tits, great tits, greenfinches , dunnocks, wrens, robins, collared doves, blackbirds and others , they all make a lovely noise in the morning and give my small binoculars plenty of use.

Have waffled enough, going to look around.

I let the dog out a little while ago and his paws are sinking into the ground it's so saturated. Just glad we're quite a bit above sea level !

Good morning folks on what promises to be a lovely, slightly belated, but Spring morning. You should see the size of the robins over here, akin to our thrushes back home. The Bradford pears look a bit worse for wear after the rain of a couple of days ago, but the cherries, almonds etc are looking wonderful. There is a weeping form of prunus in the vicinity of UVA and I don't know what it is but what a show stopper.

I ditto what you said Jo about this forum. I too would like it to continue with gusto and my earlier concerns that it might go downhill because of the chat room seem to have been well founded by the lack of posts here yesterday. I know that Patty cannot get into the chat yet and I don't want her to feel left out. I posted a message yesterday (if you're there Patty) to you but you never came back. I did try the chat yesterday, a couple of times, and it really was fun. I guess because I knew the people so well from this forum. So Patty, I had a word with Dave and Trish and I'm sure they will sort it out for you :-)

just stopped by to see whats going on. Today is suppose to get cloudy and rain tonight-then warmer but more spring showers. I guess I can live with that.

Hi everyone else, you wouldn't believe how much rain there is coming down at the mom it feels like it's time to start building a very large boat many cubits long and high.

On the way back from school saw a little old lady walking along and some ***%%!!ZX$%^ in a Jaguar deliberately ran through a large puddle and soaked her. Tried to offer her a lift but she insisted on waiting for her bus.

I'll tell you anyway, I don't mind talking to myself. I was attacked by a killer aloe today. Well, it's not an Aloe, it's Agave americana. I was cleaning a window, and it jabbed me. We're used to it drawing blood on the scalp so I have those little white polystyrene packing things on the points, but they must have come off during the cleaning. It got me on my arm, and pierced a blood vessel and I have a bump and a bruise that's now like a Ribena stain, about an inch and a half across.

There was no-one here. If it had been an artery I could have bled to death!

Hiya everybody, not been in all that long had a very long day, and it has not stopped raining all day the very heavy very wet kind, i have been freezing and had to have the sickly car heater on to get me warm, and only been offered 1 cup of tea, no friendly Lancashire people left anymore they are all behind their doors speak to nobody types.I have had a laugh today though, on my way picked up our local paper and guess what my very posh cant even say hello neighbours with the poshest conservatory and top of the range car has been done by the DSS, he has been claiming sick and disability living allowance and WORKING,i mean they have also claimed a rebate on their council tax as well,you would have thought they could have been nicer, i wonder who has told cos i just thought he had a good job never thought in a million years he was disabled, i am more knackered than him.This was in the paper.

Yes, all that potato salad!!! I'm sorry about your friend not being well. I know that you will have a lovely time of it. Have you noticed how many times I say 'lovely'. Will have to think of another word!! I thought this would happen with regard to the chat room, i.e. the lack of posts here and I knew you couldn't get on the chat, so really I don't feel comfortable over there knowing this. I don't think you should be left out of it and we can chat just as well here as has already been proved. I did go on a couple of times and yes, it was funny, simply because everyone was posting at the same time and getting crossed responses.

I can't think where everyone is tonight! Especially Alan, I mean its 12.30 back home right now and the pubs are closed. Maybe he had a date! Now that would do him the world of good :-) Lisa is probably not back from her great day out at the nursery. So your hot weather has arrived - that has to be good! Us too.
