Hey everyone,
I will be in Holland these next 5 days,to fulfill my dream of seeing the Floriade.This is a flower show held every 10 years,and this year it's in Haarlemmermeer.On Saturday,we go to the North,and over to the Gommer Nursery.I have spoken with Mr. Gommer,and he is(I hope)just as excited as I am.I will take loads of pics,but no digital here,so I must wait a few days for the photos to come.Eeeeee,I am so looking forward to this!!

You lucky duck!! Can I come? I've seen pictures of the Floriade being assembled - it looks like it's got Chelsea beat hands down.

Please come Liz..the more the merrier!!It looks like a lot of fun,and I thought life is too short to wait another 10 years..10 years ago I was pregnant,and couldn't imagine going anywhere with my swollen feet lol!!

Gwist,
I was there in 1982. It was absolutely amazing! I attended the Women's Writer's conference and each day we managed to find time to go to the Floriad. We then spent 4 days on the island of Renessa. Be sure to take lots of pictures of the gardens, they are absolutely magnificent!
