Hello all, Just a short recall....
Have been sitting this late night with my Brugs,,,I have 7..very large pots growing in our sun room still...(weather is not good here yet, Michigan) Two are busybee's seeds I germinated.....Pinks...(seedlings).....one Jean Pasco..and two Dr. Suess. and one unknown seedling and another unknown seedling....Well....it is now 10 PM....and they are telling me ....????? They all have their leaves up......pointing up....they want "Sun",? "moon"? drink?.....they must be saying something to me....I have never seen them before 6 AM or 7 Am before......and they are very flat...and looking very comfy....Have any of you seen this before....???? Very glad to have seen them in this way.....feel they are a part of me....looking for something..???? Heeee hee...nuts right....or just Brug crazy....Will not sleep with them .....so let me know..????? please....

New Brug baby setting updating!!!!
I love it when they do this. i was outside a few minutes ago, and it's like they are standing at attention. i think they are reaching for moon and starlight. i also think it means they are healthy and happy. have blooms opening, the first night they open white, by morning they will be pink.
It's amazing that they know when it is time to go to bed.They start folding up in the early evening and by the time darkness falls they are all folded up for the night. Even when I had them under the 400 watt light they still closed up in the early evening.
Hey, that is wonderful....I will sleep better. Arlene, Florida....Snowhermit....NH.....now that is wide spread....So I guess I am not ab-normal.....haven't heard this said . (In. my lurking)..Just knowing all is well, makes me feel better.....Thanks to you both.....Diana
Diana, you just have the brug disease!!! SH, i gotta tell you....i have a baby bud on the VP X Cuba....

Tell us more about the VP X Cuba...what color is it?
Glory, is a seedling from Snowhermit, just the starts of buds, being versicolor it will be a while probably before blooms open i think.

Arlene, that's great news! I can't believe that they are only 4 months old and already budding. Mine looks like it is starting to Y. All three kinds were very fast growing and sturdy right from the start. Can't wait to see what the flower will be like.I'm happy they are doing so well for you.
my seedlings from you are doing great too snow! And Diane, I think they hold their leaves up so they can show off their flowers. Yours just dont' have the flowers yet :)
tiG, So happy to know they are doing great for you too.My versi Peach x Butterfly is Y'ing too. I did'nt realize they would start the flowering cycle so quickly when grow from seed.
Maybe I was having a dream, but seems like I read someplace that the reason the brug folds up at night is to protect the new tender growth from the cold. Sounds reasonable, but not sure where I read this.
