Jean Pasco courtesy of Calalily

When Calalily gave me this plant last month, it already had 2" buds. Today it finally opened at a whopping 2 feet tall! :) Beautiful brug, Calalily - thanks!

Beautiful! Since summer is ahead, much more blossoms will be coming. I would start counting them, dave. I do this sometimes, just for the fun of it. You may be surprised, about the amount flowers. Jean Pasco is a beautiful hybrid, available in Germany but the Lady is not amused about the climate, where I live.

She is one of my favorites too. Blooms well even in partial shade. Nice picture Dave. I do hope she will get taller for you though.

A beautiful plant. Love the flowers.

I love the flowers on this one. Both the color and also the abundant bloom for such small plant ... I wonder, just how much flowers it will put out, when it get larger?

Congrats Dave!~ It looks awsome!!
I just got a Jean Pasco
about a month and a half ago, If during the summer it ends up looking as good as yours, I will be one 'Very Happy' person!!
Thank's for sharing the pic!!!

irish: It's not exactly in a hay field, but very close. We have "his and hers" gardens here, and mine is about 20 feet wide and 150 feet long, in the pasture. So the Jean Pasco you see here is right on the edge of the field. :-)

I have a line of about 15 different brugs, about 2 feet apart, a little ways down the garden. I'll hopefully have pictures of them within a couple months. Also in the garden are other interesting things, like Tomatoes, potatoes, cukes, watermelon, corn, squash, lettuce, carrots, etc. :)

I got my Jean Pasco from Suzie in Ca. I asked her if it had an orange red bottom on it. She said "no, it was supposed to but she guessed she would have to fertilize it heavier to see if it would turn orange/red on bottom". Well, in Ohio, mine has an orange/red bottom, maybe the weather???

maybe the soil?
