hello i am new to dave's garden I have a small farm in northern michigan zone 4
we are still getting snow
i started an iris garden about four years ago they were doing fine then i ordered some glads from a mail order company along with the glads i got thrips i have tried spraying them but it doesn't help
does anyone have any ideas?

Hello Birdlady. It is nice to meet you. I think as you wander around in this amazing site you are going to find some wonderful people and more help than you can imagine!
A lot of us forget to check the welcome mat regularly so please jump right into all the other threads and posts.
I have never had to deal with Thrips but I did find this in the Database here. Hope it helps. If you need more info you might post your question in the Garden discussion forum where I know a lot of really great gardeners will see it.

Welcome from another Michigander! I remember picking(eating) strawberries on a farm in Mesick when I was younger!
Im a big IRIS fan these day! Not crazy about glads-so much to dig up in the fall!
