Hey Arlene,

Try living in zone 5 from Oct. thru April and see what kind of envy you would have. :-) Nice bed Pete. It is always nice to see how others place their brugs in the yard.

Irish, your garden looks gorgeous.

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

Irish, I'll bet your yard smells divine in the evening. Really nice bed. And, Brugie, you oughta try zone 4!!!!!!!!

Wonderful indeed. Are they stopping by asking for cuttings/plants yet. Before long you can rest assured someone will be dropping by...I had a neighbor tell me that they had borrowed some clippings while I was out...

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Anna, I know that there are people worse off than I am in the zones they live in, but gee, when spring comes, I always feel like I'm the only one with the problems. :-) I know that one day I'll be complaining about how hot it is and this week it was too much wind and tomorrow will be too much rain. I'm just never happy. I have a friend who lives in Wisconsin, and she is always talking about the weather and I know, it is worse at times. Funny thing is that they are in the same zone as I am. Oh well, at least I do have time to grow a brug or two and enjoy the smell and beauty.

Eric and Irish, you can bet if I lived down there, I'd be knocking at your doors or maybe taking a midnight raid. Nah, I'd ask first.

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)

I have a fence in back yard so only my one neighbor can see it an he just mowed his grass for the frist time this year of course he didn't do the trim around the junk cars yet but I am sure he is working on it I had a few neighbors ask for cuttings when my soild Gold bloomed out front they never seen a yellow so I gave them each a dr seuss

WTG Pete....spread the beauty around.

Brugie, maybe we both ask first and take on this raid together *lol* Very tempting :)

Beautilful bed you made, Pete. I bet you can grow real large plants in it. btw. I noted also your nice fence and it inspires me to make one here like it *lol* Not to keep out people asking for a cutting or two ... In fact I would take this as a compliment and enjoy the joy it creates, but the winds are strong here. We are only ä ½ of a mile from the sea and living on a smaller island, so it is somewhat windy :-)

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)

know what you mean by wind I am a mile from the Boca ciega Bay and across that is the barrier beach called st pete Beach and then the gulf of mexico keep going west and you will run into mexico
