Honey extracting

Does anyone have any helpful hints about how you extract honey without an extractor? We know about uncapping with a hot knife and so far have one frame sitting over a roasting pan in a barely warm oven slooooowly driping honey into it. There 35 more frames to go and at this rate we will be doing this until July. We found our hive was dead and that is why we are taking the honey now.
