Irish, you oughta be totally ashamed of yourself posting a photo like that when us poor folks up here in the tundra zone can't even begin to think of putting plants out yet for another couple of weeks!!!! LOL :>) It makes us ill, jealous, etc. Seriously, that plant looks great, hope mine from Glory do just as well, though they have quite a bit of growing to do yet to even begin to get that tall. A winter in my bedroom in front of the window just isn't the same as wonderful outside warm and rain. Keep up the good work!

Anna Z.

I noticed that Whiskers has a nice smell. Isn't it amazing how the scent increases in the evening?
Irish, your yard looks like the tropics!! We are green now, but nowhere near that many blooms here yet.

I'd take the 90's anyday!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Me to CC, and I'd even take your brug Irish. Can't wait for mine to grow up like yours. :-)

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Wow Pete, those Brugs of yours are beautiful. Your yard looks so tropical. Have to agree with Brugie and CC. I'll take some of your heat. Right now I'm looking out the window at snow and freezing rain coming down. Can't even get out to the GH cause the steps are a sheet of ice.We have a snowstorm here with 6-9 inches predicted by tomorrow. I can't believe it. I thought our winter was gone and now it's back. :(

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Poor Snow, it's beautiful here. I'm sweating while trying to get these gardens cleaned up. I think the weeds grow faster than I pull them.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Cala, I wish I could work up a sweat but it's too darn cold at 28 degrees.I think I'll just go out and sit in the GH and cry and fight with the spider mites. Some of the Brugs are now hitting the roof of the GH and they want to go outside so bad.The way the weather is acting I think I'll have to leave them in the GH all summer and just cut holes in the roof for them.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Snow, that is amazing. I sure hope the weather will straighten up soon for you. Would hate to see you have to cut holes in the roof for the brugs. :-) Somehow I don't think you would do that anyway. So, how tall does that make your brugs, anyway? Geez, you will have trees for sure.

Warm here today too. I was working in the greenhouse and it was 96.8 in there....had to come inside in the AC....getting to old for this heat but can't take the cold either.....I know I'm never happy. LOL

Irish, your garden looks spectacular. It must smell heavenly. You're doing a wonderful job. Keep it up and keep those photos coming.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

aren't you glad you moved to Florida??? give Katie a big hug!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Irish, your garden is lovely.
Snow, I can't imagine your weather being so cold. For over a couple of weeks it has been in the 90's here. I'm like Gloria - getting too old for all that heat all day long. I will be glad when I can just work early in the mornings and late in the evenings. Snow your weather will warm up soon.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Your yard is beautiful Iris. Here, I would be happy to see anything green ouside. The grass isn't even green yet, it's been so cold and snowing on and off still.

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments. I am really thrilled with the it is going I have to start to work on my front yard wish it was half as nice as the back but I am sure a few more brugs there will help a lot.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Irish, your yard and your Brugs are both beautiful and the care that they get shows.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Hi Pete - It must be nice to see blooms all year. Just today I planted the v. Peach I got from you at the swap. It will be a while before I see a bloom tho - I finally got a bed ready just for brugs and have 10 planted, I'm so anxious to see some blooms. Most of them are only about a foot tall.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Irish, these old eyes just aren't what they used to be. What color are the flowers and how big are they. They look like they are a good size. I'm just dreaming what mine might look like when it blooms.

Joan,
Think it's time to pack it in and move down here with us...it was 88º at 2pm today....that's why I'm sitting here at the computer.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Glory, I really wish I could move down there with you guys. It's up to a big whopping 49 degrees now at 1:30, but they are talking about rain turning to snow again this evening.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I had sleet and freezing ran falling on me as I did the barn chores this afternoon..... those 90's are looking real good about now......

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)

I am standing next to whiskers its light yellow and in the background you can see my versicolor peach and the lower brugs are insigns pink,Charles Grimaldi the peach are around 8 to 10'.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Thanks Irish, Gives me an idea what it will look like. Just hope it's half as nice as yours.
