I have several small Datura. Can I put them in 1 gallon pots & transplant as they grew bigger? They would get lost in a large pot now. I received the seeds in a SASE last fall. It said Angel Trumpets but bet they are Datura. I'll have to take a picture & get them IDed. I did have a couple IDed but these are from a different person. A few have become leggie, can I plant them deeper?

I grow datura in pots and in beds also. I take some of the seeds and break them open in the pots. Then when spring comes the ones in the pots have new growth from the root and the seeds sprout and I have new plants that I transplant in to other pots or beds. They transplant very easy and you shouldn't have any problem moving to larger pots. However I start mine in the pot that I entend to leave them in. They are fast growers.
