I want to post a pic to show you that my datura( purple) have three buds that I just found out today. OH I can't wait. They are only 3 months old plant from seed that I planted seed in Janurary.

btw. It looks more like D. meteloides *lol* (metel = metel -oides = looking like). If it is pubescent (dense, close and very short hairs) it is meteloides or D. wrightii. The branches and leaves of D. metel are similar to D. stramonium and D. tatula (almost no hairs). However, the flower will probably have purple margin ... this one could be a real beauty :)
I have a flat of those and some mixed daturas that are only about 6 weeks and some of the Ferox bloomed at only about 5 inches tall..the discolors are blooming now in 2 1/2 inch cells and only 6 weeks old too! Must be the weather this spring.Seems like everything is starting to bloom.! :-)
