choosing a picture was hard i have the whole birth documented. it took 24hrs. for this baby to finally hatch. i was a wreck this is my first goose hatching on the farm. dh thought the momma goose was sitting on her nest to long and took it away from her before i could finish candling the eggs. this egg was cracked and chirping so i rushed it to the incubator. i did help it a little by peeling away some of the hard outer shell but left 2 inner membrains for it to go through. today 24hrs after birth it is getting strong and running around in its brooder, drinking water and eating. if it's a girl her name will be pet if a boy it will be thanksgiving. as in dinner.
