Giant Spiderwebs?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It looks like a giant spider has spun webs everywhere. We are covering in case of frost tonight. We use Remay row covers made from spun polyester. The garden center is in a valley that is cooler than the surrounding hills.

Wow that's really impressive never seen the outside stuff you have before just the insides of the greenhouse's you really have a nice business going there. Hey I thought you where coming to get all my sheets? lol Did the frost hurt anything last night?

Nope, thank the Lord!! It got to 40 and stopped. It was 46 at the house only 3 miles away!! We covered again tonight too just in case. It's better to spend an hour covering things than weeks wishing I had.

Karen, It works good for a light frost. Works for a heavy frost, but can't be touching the plants. We use long cane poles to keep it off the plants if they say it's going to go much below freezing. We escaped this time. It only got to 40* with a light frost in the valley. At the house it was 48*.
