Oh the smell

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

When I go into the green house early in the morning or in the evening, it's almost too much. I think CG is the most fragrant brug there is and it's blooming like crazy right now.

That must be wonderful to wake up to, really pretty too! It sure looks a lot like my unknown yellow.

I can almost smell it here........and it really is a REAL Chs. Grimaldi and not Suess. Might be in demand this fall. :-)

This was my very first brug and still a favorite with the customers. I have several as you can see.

Cala, It's beautiful and must smell so good. The CG seeds you sent have almost all come up.Nice sturdy little plants. Turns out I didn't have a CG plant so I've got plenty of them now.LOL Any idea who the father of the seeds might be?

I used pollen from EP, FP and suaveolens white.

know what you mean calalily My CG was blooming the same time the versi peach was and I could smell them in the front yard and there in the back yard gotta love it

It must be wonderful, Cala. Brugmansia fragrance sure can get me very early out of the feathers *lol* Datura fragrance too. I spend several mornings from morning twilights to see the light increase and the sun come up and lighten up my garden ... besides the fragrance it is so silent there at that time ... a bird now and then maybe, but no people, no cars and no demands ... one of my ideas of Heaven *lol*

I know, when I get old of age, it will be a long way to climb all the way up to Saint Peters doors ... with all these Brugs under the arm. But I hope, when I knock at his door he will let me in. However, not because he sees its me ... no way! ... but because I will gently explain to him, that the sanguineas won`t do that good in the heat by the man below :) I hope he has a good sense of taste in flowers.

Tonny, that was so special, and funny, hope the man upstairs appreciates brugs and lets you in with them, I know he will love them like we do!

Tonny, You are just too funny. I will go to sleep tonight now with a picture of you standing at those big doors with a pleading look on your face and your arms full of Brugs. :)

Beautiful, Calalily - I will have to stop by again just to sniff and smell!~

Cala, can you describe the smell? None flowers here, before at least a month :`( I can still remember, how my Brugs smell, though. Hope summer come soon :)
