Tim's seedlings

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Hey Tim!!
Look at this. This is your incarnata x edulis cross. I have two that have chartruese leaves like this. The cotleydons were green - and the true leaves seem to all be coming this chartruese color. I thought at first they might die from lack of chlorophyl - but they seem to be doing pretty good. You can see a smaller one in the same pot here is all green.

What do you think? Have you had any turn out like this?

Sue,

Several of my P. incarnata x edulis and P. edulis x incarnata seedlings came up that way too. They all appeared to be doing ok.

do they stay that way???

So far, yes, but not as yellow. I'll try to post pictures for comparison.

Well - I dunno!! I wonder if they will. It would be cool to have a chartreuse colored passiflora! It seems like all the new growth is this color. I wonder what the flowers will be like.

A few of the seedlings from another cross came up that way too. I have one from early 2001, it's doing ok and still chartreuse colored, hope to see flowers soon.

poppysue and Tim,
I also have some seedling that look exactly the same :-)

The seeds came from Tim and are the incarnata x edulis.

I was so worrid that I did give them to much water since the first leafs where dark green.
